Food & Wine Escape Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. No purchase necessary to participate. When you purchase a Food & Wine Escape Package at a participating hotel you will receive instructions upon check-in at the hotel how to register for these sweepstakes on www.foodwineescape.com   You may also enter the sweepstakes without purchase by sending a 3 by 5 card that contains your name, address, telephone number, & e-mail address (if available) in an envelope postmarked no later than 8/31/2008 to:

Limit: one entry per household. Copies of the official rules are also available at all participating hotels and on www.foodwineescape.com/sweepstakesrules
Game begins at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time on 10/1/07 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on 8/31/2008.
2. Employees of FoodwineEscape.com, its parent company and affiliated companies and their immediate families (dependents under IRS definitions) are not eligible to participate. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over on or before 10/1/07.
3. By claiming a prize, winner consents to Foodwineescape.com use of their name and photograph in advertising without compensation. Further, by accepting a prize, winner agrees to not assert any claims and agrees to release Foodwineescape.com , its parent company and affiliated companies and third party prize contributors/suppliers from any and all liabilities, injuries or damages sustained in connection with the award or use of the prize.
4. Winners are solely responsible for reporting winnings and paying all applicable taxes. Foodwineescape reserves the right to award cash or some other substitute of equal or greater value in lieu of the prize.


5. PRIZE: FoodWineEscape.com intends to award one (1) prize to the winner of these Sweepstakes
Prize:
 
A 2 night, three day getaway to Napa Valley California including airfare from the closet gateway city airport to your home address noted on your sweepstakes entry. This getaway is for two people and includes 2 nights accommodations at either The Robert Mondovi Winery or the Franciscan Winery, along with a winery tour, tasting, and lunch at the winery.

7. PRIZE Winner Notification
The winner will be notified by 1/15/09 by certified US mail, and will have 30 days to claim the prize. Instructions on how to claim the prize will be included in this notification.

Any unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.

8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Giveaway is open to all US residents, who are U.S. citizens or legal immigrants. Participants must be at least 18 years of age, by 10/1/07 to qualify for the prize. Void where prohibited / restricted. All federal, state and local laws apply. Paying and reporting taxes (if any) are the winner's sole responsibility. Prizes may not be substituted, transferred or exchanged, except at the sole discretion of FoodWineEscape.com .
